Recently a friend visited Hong Kong and shared this with me...So I thought they were just amazing and wanted to share the joy with you all China/Hong Kong lovers out there.~

Photos behind cut~

Night panorama of Hong Kong from Kowloon side

HK Island – Just a usual day in Central

HK Island – Central

View from Causeway Bay to Central. The Convention & Exhibition Centre on the right (NPS). In the background (behind the Convention Centre, but quite far away), you see the highest building of HK, the IFC-tower.

The big shopping mall at IFC, nice cafes.

At a side street of Queens Rd

In Hong Kong Park. The contrast between green parks and cool skyscrapers fascinates me. In the Park there is a huge bird aviary. Really huge and extremely nice.

Landscape behind the hotel. Lantau Island is still a little paradise with it’s nature reserves and beaches. Takes only a ride of 20 minutes and you’re in Central/HK.

The hole in the building of this hotel at Repulse is meant to make peace with the dragon who has been living behind.

If you want to get away from cars, take a ferry trip to Lantau or to Cheung Chau Island. Cheung Chau is a smaller island, but great place to relax, stroll, having sea food and exploring the island’s landscape.
